Description

Happy Harpy 8x10 on photo paper, acid-free backing board and sealed bag.
This image depicts the "Monster of Lake Fagua" a creature described in 18th-century accounts as inhabiting a lake in Chile. It was said to have a human face, bull-like horns, large ears, lion-like teeth, bat-like wings, and the lower body of a dragon.
A "Harpy" in Greek mythology is a winged creature with the face of a woman and the body of a bird.
This print is an image from 18th century art and we resurrected and enhanced the colors to bring a vivid piece of artwork to life! Why should old artwork be hidden? For us, it's not, and the Happy Harpy would love to be displayed again.
